Memorial Scholarship
A memorial scholarship was established in 2022 in honor of John and Ordell Becton’s legacy. The scholarship is awarded to seniors who meet eligibility requirements to help further their academic career while recognizing their dedication, perseverance, and determination in academic excellence.

Scholarship donations are accepted year round including memorial donations on behalf of a loved one who has passed away. A letter will be sent with every memorial donation made. When you choose to give, you become part of something bigger—something powerful.
Previous Scholarship Recipients
2022-2023
great-granddaughter of the late John and Ordell Becton, was the very first, well deserving recipient of the memorial scholarship. Kaitlyn was awarded the scholarship at her high school graduation on May 12, 2023 to use towards furthering her education at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas.
Kaitlyn Hill
2023-2024
was the second recipient of the John & Ordell Becton Memorial Scholarship. Maddox was awarded the scholarship at his high school graduation on May 10, 2024 to use towards furthering his education at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas.
